Description
Cache Creek – Floating / White Water-Tubing and Cache Creek Casino for Dinner
Weekend Roadtrips has designed a trip, from our years of river floating experience, that is perfect for an afternoon outing. Cache Creek, which flows out of Clear Lake in Lake County, offers fun but tame rapids to float down. That makes it mild enough for first-timers to have a blast floating down the Creek. We have a fun and relaxing time floating for about an hour and a half, then we head over to Cache Creek Casino for a late dinner. (If you’re 21 – the Casino gives you $25 in free food for signing up for their rewards program. Bring an ID and know your USA address to qualify.) Otherwise, plan on spending about $20 to $25 for dinner at the casino.
All gear is provided – life jackets and inner tubes. You will need to wear a pair of old shoes in the water while you float. What to bring: old shoes, bathing suit, drinking water, sunscreen, a change of clothes for the Casino, ID and $ - preferably in a small waterproof pack.)
Trio departs at 3pm - every other Thursday from the UCD International Center (see calendar)
Return: 9pm at the International Center
Cost: $39.99 (food is extra)
